In late March of 2021 I found myself in the emergency room of one of our local hospitals in Sacramento. I was being admitted for acute urinary tract infection which was eventually diagnosed as acute prostatitis. It was due to upsizing my 00 gauge PA to 0000 gauge (1/2" in diameter). You ask, how did I manage that? Let me share with you what happened so you don't make my mistake.
From December 2020 through March 2021 I began stretching my PA hole to upsize to 0000 gauge. Every couple of weeks I would break out my sounds and gradually stretch my hole to 13mm which is slightly larger than 0000 gauge. I'd then insert the 0000 gauge Tribal Dream ring and wear it around the house for a few hours, usually no more than 3 or 4 as it would begin to hurt. I'd take it out and wait for another 2 weeks for the hole to heal and then repeat the process.
By late March 2021 I could more easily stretch my PA hole and slip the ring in with much less effort. I wore it for the usual 3 or 4 hours, but this time it wasn't hurting so I left it in. Being the greedy pig that I am, since it wasn't hurting, I decided to leave it in for as long as I could manage it. Well, after 36 hours it began to hurt so I removed it. This was about 7 PM. A few hours later, about 2:30 AM I broke into some of the most intense chills I've ever experienced. I couldn't get warm so I jumped into the shower under hot water. After 30 minutes or so I was warm enough and returned to bed. I took my temperature, but it was only 100.6' so I wasn't too worried. I slept well for the rest of the night.
In the morning I was feeling really tired but dismissed it as a result of a restless night. Regardless, I took my temperature again and it had fallen below 100' so I wasn't really worried.
As the day went on I monitored my temperature several times. It stayed in the high 90's. By mid-day I noticed the head of my dick getting red and sensitive. Closer inspection revealed a minor abrasion on one side of the PA hole. It was really red and tender. I immediately began warm salt-water baths (cups of water) to soak my dick in. By the end of the day the salt baths made no difference and I was feeling worse, so off to Urgent Care I went.
I showed the doctor my piercing hole and told him what had transpired. They took some urine sample and were very concerned the infection had become serious. They sent me off to the hospital for more comprehensive tests. Fortunately the hospital was 2 blocks away.
By 8 PM I was told I had an acute infection and I was to be admitted into the hospital. My white blood cell count was at 36,000. Normal white blood cell count is 11,000.
I spent 3 miserable days days in the hospital with near constant antibiotics being fed to me via IV in my left arm. Near the end of my stay the team of doctors believed the main issue was acute prostatitis. The urinary tract did not show signs of infection.
So how did the piercing cause so much havoc. The best we can put together is that the piercing fit so tightly that it was not allowing the urinary tract to empty fully. I could pee normally, or so I thought, but I usually had to add a little pressure to pee my regular stream. I did not feel comfortable telling my care team this, but I had been fisted harshly on two occasions post removal of the piercing. I don't know if this contributed to the infection of not, but I'm inclined it think it had very little if anything to do with it. The onset of the chills came on within an hour of the last fisting session. To me, that seems too soon for such a severe reaction (my chills).
So my friends, if you upsize your PA to the point where you cannot pee freely, don't wear it more than a few hours at a time. Wait until you can stretch the PA hole large enough to accommodate your jewelry somewhat loosely for happy, easy, go-free pissing.
Oh, and its probably not a good idea to engage in sex with a injured PA hole either. Just saying.
